What are your thoughts and feelings about being depression, loneliness, heartbreaks, being different from your peers, and having to put up a front? How do/would you deal with some of these issues.
I think that there is really no need to be depressed, lonely, heartbroken, feel different from our peers nor putting up a front. Even though everyone has their ups and downs, being depressed is a strong word but depression can be controlled. No matter what the situation is, we should always try and rectify our mistake and look on the bright side, to think positively. Whenever we feel lonely, we can always find a friend to talk to and keep us company. If they are all busy, we can always find ways and means to entertain ourselves. We can get a hobby involving a club so that we get to interact with people and not feel lonely. When we like someone, we should not feel hurt because of that person. If we like that person then it should be simple not with all those mixed feelings. If you get hurt because of that person, then it is not worth. We should simply learn from our mistakes. We are all same but different at the same time. We all are unique and special in our own way. However, like the book “Inventing Elliot” is says that we have to stand out just enough to fit in. Thats what many of us fit into, we all stand out at some point and this makes us all fit in. We should not put up a front. If we do that, others will never get to know the real us and everything will be a lie. No one wants to live a lie hence we should not need to put up a front. After a while of putting up a front, we will lose sight of who we really are and that is scary.
